Baked Chicken with rice

This recipe is quick and comes from Noni (my Grandmother-in-law)

Spread 1 cup uncooked rice in buttered baking dish. Place cut up chicken over rice. Sprinkle a package of Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken. Mix 1 can cream of chicken soup with 1 1/2 cup water. Spoon this over all. Seal with foil and bake for 30 to 60 minutes until chicken is done.

Note: I like to pour 3/4 mixture over rice and stir it in a little so that there are no pockets of dry rice. Then pour the rest over the chicken.
