Chicken Tortilla Soup

Heat:
1 onion, chopped
2 minced garlic cloves
2 T vegetable oil

Add:
1 14 oz can chopped green chilis
1 15 oz can stewed chopped tomatoes
4 cups chicken broth
1 t Worcestershire sauce
1 t chili powder
1 t cumin
1 t hot sauce

Whisk together and add:
4 T flour
½ cup water

Simmer 5 minutes. Ad 1 lb cooked and shredded chicken (Suzanne said she used canned chicken). Stir in 1/3 cup sour cream and serve with cheese and tortilla chips. (You can also serve over rice to make it go further.)

Note: My friend makes this in the morning and then lets it simmer in the crockpot all day. It is really good. She serves chips and montery jack cheese on the side. Torillas would be good to dip in it as well.
